Why the name Afroditi?
In Greek mythology, Aphrodite emerged from the sea foam, becoming a symbol of beauty, harmony and desire. Plato links her name to aphros, the Greek word for “foam”, while Herodotus records the ancient spread of her worship across the eastern Mediterranean.
Facing east and opening toward the blue, the studio takes its name from this timeless image: a goddess rising from the sea. Welcoming the sunrise and the first light of day, Afroditi feels as though beauty itself were emerging from the water.
