Three family-run studios in Nea Fokea, continuing a small tradition of hospitality that began here with our grandparents.
Our story
Long before Lía‑Lió had a name, my grandparents were already welcoming travellers here.
They ran studios at a time when hospitality worked very differently, without websites, online calendars or instant reservations. Some of my childhood memories are of them talking with guests, sharing stories, laughing together and sometimes even spending part of the evening with them.
After they passed away, the studios eventually became quiet.
Years later, I decided to reopen the studios and continue, in my own way, what they had started.

The story behind Lía‑Lió
When it came time to choose a name, Lía‑Lió was already part of our family.
My grandfather had given the name to his boat - the same boat that now sits outside the house, filled with flowers. Lía referred to his daughter-in-law, my mother, while Lió, taken from the ending of Filió, referred to his wife and granddaughter.
Bringing the name back felt like a simple way to connect the studios today with the family story that came before them.
